不可叫你的善被人毁谤（罗14：16）。 各样的恶事要禁戒不作（帖前5：22）。我们留心行光明的事，不但在主面前，就在人面前，也是这样（林后8：21）。因为神的旨意原是要你们行善，可以堵住那糊涂无知人的口（彼前2：15）。你们中间却不可有人因为杀人、偷窃、作恶、好管闲事而受苦；若为作基督徒受苦，却不要羞耻，倒要因这名归荣耀给神（彼前4：15，16）。弟兄们，你们蒙召是要得自由，只是不可将你们的自由当作放纵情欲的机会，总要用爱心互相服侍（加5：13）。只是你们要谨慎，恐怕你们这自由竟成了那软弱人的绊脚石（林前8：9）。凡使这信我的一个小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上，沉在深海里（太18：6）。这些事你们既作在我这弟兄中一个最小的身上，就是作在我身上了（太25：40）。 Let not your good be evil spoken of。

你这睡着的人当醒过来，从死里复活，基督就要光照你了（弗5：14）。 你们晓得现今就是该趁早睡醒的时候，因为我们得救，现今比初信的时候更近了（罗13：11）。所以，我们不要睡觉。像别人一样，总要警醒谨守。因为睡了的人是在夜间睡，醉了的人是在夜间醉。但我们既然属乎白昼，就应当谨守，把信和爱当作护心镜遮胸，把得救的盼望当作头盔戴上（帖前5：6…8）。兴起，发光！因为你的光已经来到，耶和华的荣耀发现照耀你。看哪，黑暗遮盖大地，幽暗遮盖万民，耶和华却要显现照耀你，他的荣耀要现在你身上（赛60：l，2）。 要约束你们的心，谨慎自守，专心盼望耶稣基督显现的时候所带来给你们的恩（彼前1：13）。 你们腰里要束上带，灯也要点着。好像仆人等候主人（路12：35，36）。 Awake thou that sleepest； and arise from the dead； and Christ shall give thee light。 It is high time to awake out of sleep： for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed。 — Therefore let us not sleep； as do others； but let us watch and be sober。 For they that sleep sleep in the night： and they that be drunken are drunken in the night。 But let us； who are of the day； be sober； putting on the breastplate of faith and love； and for an helmet； the hope of salvation。 Arise； shine； for thy light is e； and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee。 For behold darkness shall cover the earth； and gross darkness the people； but the Lord shall arise upon thee； and his glory shall be seen upon thee。

你为什么向我哀求呢？你吩咐以色列人往前走（出14：15）。 我们都当刚强，为本国的民和 神的城邑作大丈夫。愿耶和华凭他的意旨而行（代上19：13）。我们祷告我们的 神，……派人看守，昼夜防备（尼4：9）。凡称呼我主啊，主啊的人，不能都进天国；惟独遵行我天父旨意的人，才能进去（太7：21）。人若立志遵着他的旨意行，就必晓得这教训是出于 神（约7：17）。

你要在基督耶稣的恩典上刚强起来（提后2：1）。 照他荣耀的权能，得以在各样的力上加力（西1：11）。你们既然接受了主基督耶稣，就当遵他而行，在他里面生根建造，信心坚固，正如你们所领的教训，感谢的心也更增长了（西2：6，7）。使他们称为公义树，是耶和华所栽的，叫他得荣耀（赛61：3）。你们被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，有基督耶稣自己为房角石，各房靠他联络得合式，渐渐成为主的圣殿。你们也靠他同被建造，成为 神藉着圣灵居住的所在（弗2：20…22）。 如今我把你们交托 神和他恩惠的道。这道能建立你们，叫你们和一切成圣的人同得基业（徒20：32）。靠着耶稣基督结满了仁义的果子，叫荣耀称赞归与 神（腓1：11）。 你要为真道打那美好的仗（提前6：12）。凡事不怕敌人的惊吓（腓1：28）。 Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus。
