Therefore thus saith the LORD； Ye have not hearkened unto me； in proclaiming liberty； every one to his brother； and every man to his neighbour： behold； I proclaim a liberty for you； saith the LORD； to the sword； to the pestilence； and to the famine； and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth。
34：18*
And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant； which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me； when they cut the calf in twain； and passed between the parts thereof；
34：19犹大的首领，耶路撒冷的首领，太监，祭司，和国中的众民曾将牛犊劈开，分成两半，从其中经过，在我面前立约。后来又违背我的约，不遵行这约上的话。
The princes of Judah； and the princes of Jerusalem； the eunuchs； and the priests； and all the people of the land； which passed between the parts of the calf；
34：20我必将他们交在仇敌和寻索其命的人手中。他们的尸首必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物。
I will even give them into the hand of their enemies； and into the hand of them that seek their life： and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven； and to the beasts of the earth。
34：21并且我必将犹大王西底家和他的首领交在他们仇敌和寻索其命的人，与那暂离你们而去巴比伦王军队的手中。
And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies； and into the hand of them that seek their life； and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army； which are gone up from you。
34：22耶和华说，我必吩咐他们回到这城，攻打这城，将城攻取，用火焚烧。我也要使犹大的城邑变为荒场，无人居住。
Behold； I will mand； saith the LORD； and cause them to return to this city； and they shall fight against it； and take it； and burn it with fire： and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant。

35：1当犹大王约西亚之子约雅敬的时候，耶和华的话临到耶利米说，
The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah； saying；
35：2你去见利甲族的人，和他们说话，领他们进入耶和华殿的一间屋子，给他们酒喝。
Go unto the house of the Rechabites； and speak unto them； and bring them into the house of the LORD； into one of the chambers； and give them wine to drink。
35：3我就将哈巴洗尼雅的孙子雅利米雅的儿子雅撒尼亚和他弟兄，并他众子，以及利甲全族的人，
Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah； the son of Habaziniah； and his brethren； and all his sons； and the whole house of the Rechabites；
35：4领到耶和华的殿，进入神人伊基大利的儿子哈难众子的屋子。那屋子在首领的屋子旁边，在沙龙之子把门的玛西雅屋子以上。
And I brought them into the house of the LORD； into the chamber of the sons of Hanan； the son of Igdaliah； a man of God； which was by the chamber of the princes； which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum； the keeper of the door：
35：5于是我在利甲族人面前设摆盛满酒的碗和杯，对他们说，请你们喝酒。
And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine； and cups； and I said unto them； Drink ye wine。
35：6他们却说，我们不喝酒。因为我们先祖利甲的儿子约拿达曾吩咐我们说，你们与你们的子孙永不可喝酒，
But they said； We will drink no wine： for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father manded us； saying； Ye shall drink no wine； neither ye； nor your sons for ever：
35：7也不可盖房，撒种，栽种葡萄园，但一生的年日要住帐棚，使你们的日子在寄居之地得以延长。
Neither shall ye build house； nor sow seed； nor plant vineyard； nor have any： but all your days ye shall dwell in tents； that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers。
35：8凡我们先祖利甲的儿子约拿达所吩咐我们的话，我们都听从了。我们和我们的妻子儿女一生的年日都不喝酒，
Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us； to drink no wine all our days； we； our wives； our sons； nor our daughters；
35：9也不盖房居住，也没有葡萄园，田地，和种子，
Nor to build houses for us to dwell in： neither have we vineyard； nor field； nor seed：
35：10但住帐棚，听从我们先祖约拿达的话，照他所吩咐我们的去行。
But we have dwelt in tents； and have obeyed； and done according to all that Jonadab our father manded us。
35：11巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒上此地来，我们因怕迦勒底的军队和亚兰的军队，就说，来吧，我们到耶路撒冷去。这样，我们才住在耶路撒冷。
But it came to pass； when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land； that we said； e； and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans； and for fear of the army of the Syrians： so we dwell at Jerusalem。
35：12耶和华的话临到耶利米说，
Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah； saying；
35：13万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，你去对犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民说，耶和华说，你们不受教训，不听从我的话吗。
Thus saith the LORD of hosts； the God of Israel； Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem； Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words？ saith the LORD。
35：14利甲的儿子约拿达所吩咐他子孙不可喝酒的话，他们已经遵守，直到今日也不喝酒，因为他们听从先祖的吩咐。我从早起来警戒你们，你们却不听从我。
The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab； that he manded his sons not to drink wine； are performed； for unto this day they drink none； but obey their father's mandment： notwithstanding I have spoken unto you； rising early and speaking； but ye hearkened not unto me。
35：15我从早起来，差遣我的仆人众先知去，说，你们各人当回头，离开恶道，改正行为，不随从事奉别神，就必住在我所赐给你们和你们列祖的地上。只是你们没有听从我，也没有侧耳而听。
I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets； rising up early and sending them； saying； Return ye now every man from his evil way； and amend your doings； and go not after other gods to serve them； and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers： but ye have not inclined your ear； nor hearkened unto me。
35：16利甲的儿子约拿达的子孙能遵守先人所吩咐他们的命，这百姓却没有听从我。
Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the mandment of their father； which he manded them； but this people hath not hearkened unto me：
35：17因此，耶和华万军之神，以色列的神如此说，我要使我所说的一切灾祸临到犹大人和耶路撒冷的一切居民。因为我对他们说话，他们没有听从。我呼唤他们，他们没有答应。
Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts； the God of Israel； Behold； I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them： because I have spoken unto them； but they have not heard； and I have called unto them； but they have not answered。
35：18耶利米对利甲族的人说，万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，因你们听从你们先祖约拿达的吩咐，谨守他的一切诫命，照他所吩咐你们的去行，
And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites； Thus saith the LORD of hosts； the God of Israel； Because ye have obeyed the mandment of Jonadab your father； and kept all his precepts； and done according unto all that he hath manded you：
35：19所以万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说，利甲的儿子约拿达必永不缺人侍立在我面前。
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts； the God of Israel； Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever。

36：1犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年，耶和华的话临到耶利米说，
And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah； that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD； saying；
36：2你取一书卷，将我对你说攻击以色列和犹大，并各国的一切话，从我对你说话的那日，就是从约西亚的日子起直到今日，都写在其上。
Take thee a roll of a book； and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel； and against Judah； and against all the nations； from the day I spake unto thee； from the days of Josiah； even unto this day。
36：3或者犹大家听见我想要降与他们的一切灾祸，各人就回头，离开恶道，我好赦免他们的罪孽和罪恶。
It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them； that they may return every man from his evil way； that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin。
36：4所以，耶利米召了尼利亚的儿子巴录来。巴录就从耶利米口中，将耶和华对耶利米所说的一切话写在书卷上。
Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah： and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD； which he had spoken unto him； upon a roll of a book。
36：5耶利米吩咐巴录说，我被拘管，不能进耶和华的殿。
And Jeremiah manded Baruch； saying； I am shut up； I cannot go into the house of the LORD：
36：6所以你要去趁禁食的日子，在耶和华殿中将耶和华的话，就是你从我口中所写在书卷上的话，念给百姓和一切从犹大城邑出来的人听。
Therefore go thou； and read in the roll； which thou hast written from my mouth； the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD's house upon the fasting day： and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that e out of their cities。
36：7或者他们在耶和华面前恳求各人回头，离开恶道，因为耶和华向这百姓所说要发的怒气和忿怒是大的。
It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD； and will return every one from his evil way： for great is the anger and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people。
36：8尼利亚的儿子巴录就照先知耶利米一切所吩咐的去行，在耶和华的殿中从书上念耶和华的话。
And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet manded him； reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD's house。
36：9犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第五年九月，耶路撒冷的众民和那从犹大城邑来到耶路撒冷的众民，在耶和华面前宣告禁食的日子，
And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah； in the ninth month； that they proclaimed a fast before the LORD to all the people in Jerusalem； and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem。
36：10巴录就在耶和华殿的上院，耶和华殿的新门口，沙番的儿子文士基玛利雅的屋内，念书上耶利米的话给众民听。
Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the LORD； in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe； in the higher court； at the entry of the new gate of the LORD's house； in the ears of all the people。
36：11沙番的孙子，基玛利雅的儿子米该亚听见书上耶和华的一切话，
When Michaiah the son of Gemariah； the son of Shaphan； had heard out of the book all the words of the LORD；
36：12他就下到王宫，进入文士的屋子。众首领，就是文士以利沙玛，示玛雅�
