Things which are despised; hath God chosen。 Behold; are not all these which speak Galilaeans? Jesus; 。。。 saw two brethren; 。。。 casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers。 And he saith unto them; Follow me。 — Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John; and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men; they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them; that they had been with Jesus。 My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom; but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men; but in the power of God。 Ye have not chosen me; but I have chosen you; and ordained you; that ye should go and bring forth fruit。 He that abideth in me; and I in him; the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing。 — We have this treasure in earthen vessels; that the excellency of the power may be of God。 I COR。 1:28。 Acts 2:7。 Matt。 4:18;19。 …Acts 4:13。 I Cor。 2:4;5。 John 15:16;5。 …II Cor。 4:7。

Leaning on Jesus' bosom。 As one whom his mother forteth; so will I fort you。 — They brought young children to him; that he should touch them。 And he took them up in his arms; put his hands upon them; and blessed them。 — Jesus called his disciples unto him; and said; I have passion on the multitude; because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat; and I will not send them away fasting; lest they faint in the way。 — A high Priest 。。。 touched with with the feeling of our infirmities。 — In his love and in his pity he redeemed them。 I will not leave you fortless: (marg。 orphans) I will e to you。 — Can a woman forget her sucking child; that she should not have passion on the son of her womb? yea; they may forget; yet will I not forget thee。 The Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them; and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes。 JOHN 13:23。 Isa。 66:13。 …Mark 10:13;16。 …Matt。 15:32。 …Heb。 4:15。 …Isa。 63:9。 John 14:18。 …Isa。 49:15。 Rev。 7:17。

Jesus Christ the righteous: the propitiation for our sins。
Toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be。 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee。 I will meet with thee; and I will
mune with thee from above the mercy seat。 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other。 If thou; LORD; shouldest mark iniquities; O Lord; who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee; that thou mayest be feared。 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy; and with him is plenteous redemption。 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities。 — All have sinned; and e short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood; to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins。 I JOHN 2:1;2。 Exo。 25:20…22。 Psa。 85:9;10。 Psa。 130:3;4;7;8。 …Rom。 3:23…25。

We have known and believed the love that God hath to us。 God; who is rich in mercy; for his great love wherewith he loved us; even when we were dead in sins; hath quickened us together with Christ; (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together; and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to e he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus。 God so loved the world; that he gave his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him should not perish; but have everlasting life。 — He that spared not his own Son; but delivered him up for us all; how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? — The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works。 We love him; because he first loved us。 Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord。

Mind not high things; but condescend to men of low estate。 My brethren; have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ; the Lord of glory; with respect of persons。 Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith; and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? Let no man seek his own; but every man another's wealth。 — Having food and raiment let us be therewith content。 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare; and into many foolish and hurtful lusts; which drown men in destruction and perdition。 God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise: and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world; and things which are despised; hath God chosen; yea; and things which are not; to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence。 LORD; my heart is not haughty; nor mine eyes lofty。 ROM。 12:16。 Jas。 2:1;5。 I Cor。 10:24。 …I Tim。 6:8;9。 I Cor。 1:27…29。 Psa。 131:1。
Let your speech be always with grace。 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver。 As an earring of gold; and an ornament of fine gold; so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear。 — Let no corrupt munication proceed out of your mouth; but that which is good to the use of edifying; that it may minister grace unto the hearers。 — A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things。 — By thy words thou shalt be justified。 — The tongue of the wise is health。 They that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened; and heard it; and a book of remembrance was written before him for them t
