耶和华对你说什么（撒上3：17）？ 世人哪，耶和华已指示你何为善，他向你所要的是什么呢？只要你行公义，好怜悯，存谦卑的心，与你的 神同行（弥6：8）。遵守他的诫命、律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，为要叫你得福（申10：13）。 凡以行律法为本的，都是被咒诅的，因为经上记着：凡不常照律法书上所记一切之事去行的，就被咒诅。没有一个人靠着律法在 神面前称义，这是明显的，因为经上说：义人必因信得生。这样说来，律法是为什么有的呢？原是为过犯添上的，等候那蒙应许的子孙来到（加3：10，11，19）。 神既在古时藉着众先知多次多方的晓谕列祖；就在这末世藉着他儿子晓谕我们（来1：1，2）。 耶和华啊，请说，仆人敬听（撒上3：9）！ What is the thing that the Lord hath said unto thee？ He hath shewed thee； O man； what is good； and what doth the LORD require of thee； but to do justly； and to love mercy； and to walk humbly with thy God？ — To keep the mandments of the LORD； and his statutes； which I mand thee this day for thy good。 As many as are of the works of the law are under the curse： for it is written； Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them。 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God； it is evident： for The just shall live by faith。 Wherefore then serveth the law？ It was added because of transgressions； till the seed should e to whom the promise was made。 God； who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets； hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son。 Speak； LORD； for thy servant heareth。 I SAM。 3：17。 Mic。 6：8。 …Deut。 10：13。 Gal。 3：10；11；19。 Heb。 1：1；2。 I Sam。 3：9。

他必按公平引领谦卑人，将他的道教训他们（诗25：9）。 温柔的人有福了（太5：5）。 我转念：见日光之下，快跑的未必能赢，力战的未必得胜，智慧的未必得粮食，明哲的未必得货财，灵巧的未必得喜悦（传9：11）。人心筹算自己的道路，惟耶和华指引他的脚步（箴16：9）。坐在天上的主啊，我向你举目。看哪，仆人的眼睛怎样望主人的手，使女的眼睛怎样望主母的手，我们的眼睛也照样望耶和华我们的 神（诗123：1，2）。求你使我知道当行的路，因我的心仰望你（诗143：8）。我们的 神啊，你不惩罚他们吗？因为我们无力抵挡这来攻击我们的大军，我们也不知道怎样行，我们的眼目单仰望你（代下20：12）。你们中间若有缺少智慧的，应当求那厚赐与众人、也不斥责人的 神，主就必赐给他（雅1：5）。
The meek will he teach his way。

主耶和华啊，愿你永远赐福与仆人的家（撒下7：29）。 耶和华啊，你已经赐福，还要赐福到永远（代上17：27）。 耶和华所赐的福，使人富足，并不加上忧虑（箴10：22）。 当记念主耶稣的话，说：施比受更为有福（徒20：35）。 你摆设筵席，倒要请那贫穷的、残废的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的，你就有福了！因为他们没有什么可报答你。到义人复活的时候，你要得着报答（路14：13，14）。你们这蒙我父赐福的，可来承受那创世以来为你们所预备的国。因为我饿了，你们给我吃；渴了，你们给我喝；我作客旅，你们留我住；我赤身露体，你们给我穿；我病了，你们看顾我；我在监里，你们来看我（太25：34…36）。 眷顾贫穷的有福了，他遭难的日子，耶和华必搭救他（诗41：1）。 耶和华 神是日头，是盾牌（诗84：11）。 O Lord God； 。。。 with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever。 Thou blessest； O LORD； and it shall be blessed for ever。 — The blessing of the LORD； it maketh rich； and he addeth no sorrow with it。

主是帮助我的，我必不惧怕，人能把我怎么样呢（来13：6）？ 谁能使我们与基督的爱隔绝呢？难道是患难吗？是困苦吗？是逼迫吗？是饥饿吗？是赤身露体吗？是危险吗？是刀剑吗？然而，靠着爱我们的主，在这一切的事上，已经得胜有余了（罗8：35，37）。那杀身体以后不能再作什么的，不要怕他们。我要指示你们当怕的是谁，当怕那杀了以后又有权柄丢在地狱里的，我实在告诉你们：正要怕他（路12：4，5）。为义受逼迫的人有福了，因为天国是他们的。人若因我辱骂你们，逼迫你们，捏造各样坏话毁谤你们，你们就有福了。应当欢喜快乐，因为你们在天上的赏赐是大的（太5：10…12）。我却不以性命为念，也不看为宝贵，只要行完我的路程（徒20：24）。我要在君王面前论说你的法度，并不至于羞愧（诗119：46）。 I will not fear what man shall do unto me。 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ？ shall tribulation； or distress； or persecution； or famine； or nakedness； or peril； or sword？ Nay； in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us。 Be not afraid of them that kill the body； and after that have no more that they can do。 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear： Fear him； which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell： yea； I say unto you； Fear him。 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake： for their's is the kingdom of heaven。 Blessed are ye； when men shall revile you and per…secute you； and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely； for my sake。 Rejoice； and be exceeding glad： for great is your reward in heaven。 — None of these things move me； neither count I my life dear unto myself； so that I might finish my course with joy。 — I will speak of thy testimonies 。。。 before kings； and will not be ashamed。 HEB。 13：6。 Rom。 8：35；37。 Luke 12：4；5。 Matt。 5：10…12。 …Acts 20：24。 …Psa。 119：46。

你是乐意饶恕人，有恩典，有怜悯（尼9：17）。 主所应许的尚未成就，有人以为他是耽延，其实不是耽延，乃是宽容你们，不愿有一人沉沦，乃愿人人都悔改（彼后3：9）。要以我主长久忍耐为得救的因由（彼后3：15）。 我蒙了怜悯，是因耶稣基督要在我这罪魁身上显明他一切的忍耐，给后来信他得永生的人作榜样（提前1：16）。从前所写的圣经都是为教训我们写的，叫我们因圣经所生的忍耐和安慰，可以得着盼望（罗15：4）。 还是你藐视他丰富的恩慈、宽容、忍耐，不晓得他的恩慈是领你悔改呢（罗2：4）？ 你们要撕裂心肠，不撕裂衣服，归向耶和华你们的 神；因为他有恩典，有怜悯，不轻易发怒，有丰盛的慈爱，并且后悔不降所说的灾（珥2：13）。
