虚空的虚空，凡事都是虚空（传1：2）。 我们度尽的年岁，好像一声叹惜。我们一生的年日是七十岁，若是强壮可到八十岁；但其中所矜夸的不过是劳苦愁烦，转眼成空，我们便如飞而去（诗90：9，10）。 我们若靠基督只在今生有指望，就算比众人更可怜（林前15：19）。我们在这里本没有长存的城，乃是寻求那将来的城（来13：14）。因我耶和华是不改变的（玛3：6）。我们却是天上的国民，并且等候救主，就是主耶稣基督。他要按着那能叫万有归服自己的大能，将我们这卑贱的身体改变形状，和他自己荣耀的身体相似（腓3：20，21）。因为受造之物服在虚空之下，不是自己愿意，乃是因那叫他如此的（罗8：20）。 耶稣基督昨日今日一直到永远，是一样的（来13：8）。圣哉，圣哉，圣哉，主 神是昔在、今在、以后永在的全能者（启4：8）！ Vanity of vanities； all is vanity。 We spend our years as a tale that is told。 The days of our years are threescore years and ten； and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years； yet is their strength labour and sorrow； for it is soon cut off； and we fly away。 If in this life only we have hope in Christ； we are of all men most miserable。 — Here have we no continuing city； but we seek one to e。 — I am the LORD； I change not。 — Our conversation （citizenship） is in heaven； from whence also we look for the Saviour； the Lord Jesus Christ； who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body； according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself。 — The creature was made subject to vanity； not willingly but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope。 Jesus Christ the same yesterday； and today； and forever。 — Holy； holy； holy； Lord God Almighty； which was； and is； and is to e。 ECCL。 1：2。 Psa。 90：9；10。 I Cor。 15：19。 …Heb。 13：14。 …Mal。 3：6。 …Phi。 3：20；21。 …Rom。 8：20。 Heb。 13：8。 …Rev。 4：8。

你们要醒悟为善，不要犯罪（林前15：34）。 你们都是光明之子，都是白昼之子；所以，我们不要睡觉，像别人一样，总要儆醒谨守（帖前5：5，6）。
现今就是该趁早睡醒的时候，因为我们得救，现今比初信的时候更近了。黑夜已深，白昼将近；我们就当脱去暗昧的行为，戴上光明的兵器（罗13：11，12）。所以，要拿起 神所赐的全副军装，好在磨难的日子抵挡仇敌，并且成就了一切，还能站立得住（弗6：13）。你们要将所犯的一切罪过尽行抛弃，自作一个新心和新灵（结18：31）。你们要脱去一切的污秽和盈余的邪恶，存温柔的心领受那所栽种的道，就是能救你们灵魂的道（雅1：21）。 小子们哪，你们要住在主里面。这样，他若显现，我们就可以坦然无惧；当他来的时候，在他面前也不至于惭愧。你们若知道他是公义的，就知道凡行公义之人都是他所生的（约壹2：28，29）。 Awake to righteousness； and sin not。 Ye are all the children of light； and the children of the day。 Therefore let us not sleep； as do others； but let us watch and be sober。 It is high time to awake out of sleep： for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed。 The night is far spent； the day is at hand： let us therefore cast off the works of darkness； and let us put on the armour of light。 — Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God； that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day； and having done all； to stand。 — Cast away from you all your transgressions； whereby ye have transgressed： and make you a new heart and a new spirit。 — Lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness； and receive with meekness the engrafted word； which is able to save your souls。 Little children； abide in him that； when he shall appear； we may have confidence； and not be ashamed before him at his ing。 If ye know that he is righteous； ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him。 I COR。 15：34。 I Thes。 5：5；6。 Rom。 13：11；12。 …Eph。 6：13。 …Ezek。 18：31。 …Jas。 1：21。 …I John 2：28；29。

我的羊听我的声音（约10：27）。 看哪，我站在门外叩门，若有听见我声音就开门的，我要进到他那里去，我与他，他与我，一同坐席（启3：20）。 我身睡卧，我心却醒。这是我良人的声音，他敲门说：我的妹子，我的佳偶，我的鸽子，我的完全人，求你给我开门。我给我的良人开了门，我的良人却已转身走了。他说话的时候，我神不守舍。我寻找他，竟寻不见；我呼叫他，他却不回答（歌5：2，6）。 请说，仆人敬听（撒上3：10）！耶稣到了那里，抬头一看，对他说：撒该，快下来！今天我必住在你家里。他就急忙下来，欢欢喜喜地接待耶稣（路19：5，6）。我要听 神耶和华所说的话，因为他必应许将平安赐给他的百姓，他的圣民；他们却不可再转去妄行（诗85：8）。 My sheep hear my voice。 Behold； I stand at the door； and knock： If any man hear my voice； and open the door； 1 will e in to him； and will sup with him； and he with me。

我愿男人无忿怒，无争论，举起圣洁的手，随处祷告（提前2：8）。 那真正拜父的，要用心灵和诚实拜他，因为父要这样的人拜他。 神是个灵，所以拜他的，必须用心灵和诚实拜他（约4：23，24）。那时你求告，耶和华必应允；你呼求，他必说：我在这里（赛58：9）。你们站着祷告的时候，若想起有人得罪你们，就当饶恕他（可ll：25）。 人非有信，就不能得 神的喜悦；因为到 神面前来的人，必须信有 神，且信他赏赐那寻求他的人（来11：6）。只要凭着信心求，一点不疑惑；因为那疑惑的人，就像海中的波浪，被风吹动翻腾。这样的人不要想从主那里得什么（雅1：6，7）。
我若心里注重罪孽，主必不听（诗66：18）。我小子们哪，我将这些话写给你们，是要叫你们不犯罪。若有
