等候所盼望的福，并等候至大的 神和我们救主基督的荣耀显现（多2：13）。
我们有这指望，如同灵魂的锚，又坚固、又牢靠，

不轻易发怒的，大有聪明（箴14：29）。 耶和华在他面前宣告说：耶和华，耶和华，是有怜悯、有恩典的 神，不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱和诚实（出34：6）。主所应许的尚未成就，有人以为他是耽延，其实不是耽延，乃是宽容你们，不愿有一人沉沦，乃愿人人都悔改（彼后3：9）。所以你们该效法 神，好象蒙慈爱的儿女一样。也要凭爱心行事（弗5：1，2）。圣灵所结的果子，就是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、温柔、节制。这样的事，没有律法禁止（加5：22，23）。倘若人为叫良心对得住 神，就忍受冤屈的苦楚，这是可喜爱的。但你们若因行善受苦，能忍耐，这在 神看是可喜爱的。因基督也为你们受过苦，给你们留下榜样，叫你们跟随他的脚踪行。……他被骂不还口，受害不说威吓的话，只将自己交托那按公义审判人的主（彼前2：19…21，23）。生气却不要犯罪（弗4：26）。 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding。 The LORD passed by before him； and proclaimed； The LORD； The LORD God； merciful and gracious； longsuffering。 — The Lord is not slack concerning his promise； as some men count slackness； but is longsuffering to us…ward； not willing that any should perish； but that all should e to repentance。

耶和华的所在（结48：35）。 看哪， 神的帐幕在人间。他要与人同住，他们要作他的子民； 神要亲自与他们同在（启21：3）。
我未见城里有殿，因主 神、全能者和羔羊为城的殿。那城内又不用日月光照，因有 神的荣耀光照，又有羔羊为城的灯（启21：22，23）。 我醒了的时候，得见你的形象，就心满意足了。除你以外，在天上我有谁呢？除你以外，在地上我也没有所爱慕的（诗17：15；73：25）。但犹大必存到永远，耶路撒冷必存到万代。我未曾报复流血的罪，现在我要报复；因为耶和华住在锡安（珥3：20，21）。锡安城啊，应当欢乐歌唱，因为我来要住在你中间。这是耶和华说的（亚2：10）。以后再没有咒诅。在城里有 神和羔羊的宝座，他的仆人都要事奉他（启22：3）。 Jehovah…shammah （The Lord is there。）
