18：19大祭司就以耶稣的门徒和他的教训盘问他。
The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples； and of his doctrine。
18：20耶稣回答说，我从来是明明的对世人说话。我常在会堂和殿里，就是犹太人聚集的地方，教训人。我在暗地里，并没有说什么。
Jesus answered him； I spake openly to the world； I ever taught in the synagogue； and in the temple； whither the Jews always resort； and in secret have I said nothing。
18：21你为什么问我呢。可以问那听见的人，我对他们说的是什么。我所说的，他们都知道。
Why askest thou me？ ask them which heard me； what I have said unto them： behold； they know what I said。
18：22耶稣说了这话，旁边站着的一个差役，用手掌打他说，你这样回答大祭司吗。
And when he had thus spoken； one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand； saying； Answerest thou the high priest so？
18：23耶稣说，我若说的不是，你可以指证那不是。我若说的是，你为什么打我呢。
Jesus answered him； If I have spoken evil； bear witness of the evil： but if well； why smitest thou me？
18：24亚那就把耶稣解到大祭司该亚法那里，仍是捆着解去的。
Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest。
18：25西门彼得正站着烤火，有人对他说，你不也是他的门徒吗。彼得不承认，说，我不是。
And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself。 They said therefore unto him； Art not thou also one of his disciples？ He denied it； and said； I am not。
18：26有大祭司的一个仆人，是彼得削掉耳朵那人的亲属，说，我不是看见你同他在园子里吗。
One of the servants of the high priest； being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off； saith； Did not I see thee in the garden with him？
18：27彼得又不承认。立时鸡就叫了。
Peter then denied again： and immediately the cock crew。
18：28众人将耶稣从该亚法那里往衙门内解去。那时天还早。他们自己却不进衙门，恐怕染了污秽，不能吃逾越节的筵席
Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment： and it was early； and they themselves went not into the judgment hall； lest they should be defiled； but that they might eat the passover。
18：29彼拉多就出来，到他们那里，说，你们告这人是为什么事呢。
Pilate then went out unto them； and said； What accusation bring ye against this man？
18：30他们回答说，这人若不是作恶的，我们就不把他交给你。
They answered and said unto him； If he were not a malefactor； we would not have delivered him up unto thee。
18：31彼拉多说，你们带他去，按着你们的律法审问他吧。犹太人说，我们没有杀人的权柄。
Then said Pilate unto them； Take ye him； and judge him according to your law。 The Jews therefore said unto him； It is not lawful for us to put any man to death：
18：32这要应验耶稣所说，自己将要怎样死的话了。
That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled； which he spake； signifying what death he should die。
18：33彼拉多又进了衙门，叫耶稣来，对他说，你是犹太人的王吗。
Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again； and called Jesus； and said unto him； Art thou the King of the Jews？
18：34耶稣回答说，这话是你自己说的，还是别人论我对你说的呢。
Jesus answered him； Sayest thou this thing of thyself； or did others tell it thee of me？
18：35彼拉多说，我岂是犹太人呢。你本国的人和祭司长，把你交给我。你作了什么事呢。
Pilate answered； Am I a Jew？ Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me： what hast thou done？
18：36耶稣回答说，我的国不属这世界。我的国若属这世界，我的臣仆必要争战，使我不至于被交给犹太人。只是我的国不属这世界。
Jesus answered； My kingdom is not of this world： if my kingdom were of this world； then would my servants fight； that I should not be delivered to the Jews： but now is my kingdom not from hence。
18：37彼拉多就对他说，这样，你是王吗。耶稣回答说，你说我是王。我为此而生，也为此来到世间，特为给真理作见证。凡属真理的人，就听我的话。
Pilate therefore said unto him； Art thou a king then？ Jesus answered； Thou sayest that I am a king。 To this end was I born； and for this cause came I into the world； that I should bear witness unto the truth。 Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice。
18：38彼拉多说，真理是什么呢。说了这话，又出来到犹太人那里，对他们说，我查不出他有什么罪来。
Pilate saith unto him； What is truth？ And when he had said this； he went out again unto the Jews； and saith unto them； I find in him no fault at all。
18：39但你们有个规矩，在逾越节要我给你们释放一个人，你们要我给你们释放犹太人的王吗。
But ye have a custom； that I should release unto you one at the passover： will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews？
18：40他们又喊着说，不要这人，要巴拉巴。这巴拉巴是个强盗。
Then cried they all again； saying； Not this man； but Barabbas。 Now Barabbas was a robber。

19：1当下彼拉多将耶稣鞭打了。
Then Pilate therefore took Jesus； and scourged him。
19：2兵丁用荆棘编作冠冕，戴在他头上，给他穿上紫袍。
And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns； and put it on his head； and they put on him a purple robe；
19：3又挨近他说，恭喜犹太人的王阿。他们就用手掌打他。
And said； Hail； King of the Jews！ and they smote him with their hands。
19：4彼拉多又出来对众人说，我带他出来见你们，叫你们知道我查不出他有什么罪来。
Pilate therefore went forth again； and saith unto them； Behold； I bring him forth to you； that ye may know that I find no fault in him。
19：5耶稣出来，戴着荆棘冠冕，穿着紫袍。彼拉多对他们说，你们看这个人。
Then came Jesus forth； wearing the crown of thorns； and the purple robe。 And Pilate saith unto them； Behold the man！
19：6祭司长和差役看见他，就喊着说，钉他十字架，钉他十字架。彼拉多说，你们自己把他钉十字架吧。我查不出他有什么罪来。
When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him； they cried out； saying； Crucify him； crucify him。 Pilate saith unto them； Take ye him； and crucify him： for I find no fault in him。
19：7犹太人回答说，我们有律法，按那律法，他是该死的，因他以自己为神的儿子。
The Jews answered him； We have a law； and by our law he ought to die； because he made himself the Son of God。
19：8彼拉多听见这话，越发害怕。
When Pilate therefore heard that saying； he was the more afraid；
19：9又进衙门，对耶稣说，你是那里来的。耶稣却不回答。
And went again into the judgment hall； and saith unto Jesus； Whence art thou？ But Jesus gave him no answer。
19：10彼拉多说，你不对我说话吗。你岂不知我有权柄释放你，也有权柄把你钉十字架吗。
Then saith Pilate unto him； Speakest thou not unto me？ knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee； and have power to release thee？
19：11耶稣回答说，若不是从上头赐给你的，你就毫无权柄辨我。所以把我交给你的那人，罪更重了。
Jesus answered； Thou couldest have no power at all against me； except it were given thee from above： therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin。
19：12从此彼拉多想要释放耶稣。无奈犹太人喊着说，你若释放这个人，就不是凯撒的忠臣。（原文作朋友）凡以自己为王的，就是背叛凯撒了。
And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him： but the Jews cried out； saying； If thou let this man go； thou art not Caesar's friend： whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar。
19：13彼拉多听见这话，就带耶稣出来，到了一个地方，名叫铺华石处，希伯来话叫厄巴大，就在那里坐堂。
When Pilate therefore heard that saying； he brought Jesus forth； and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement； but in the Hebrew； Gabbatha。
19：14那日是逾越节的日子，约有午正。彼拉多对犹太人说，看哪，这是你们的王。
And it was the preparation of the passover； and about the sixth hour： and he saith unto the Jews； Behold your King！
19：15他们喊着说，除掉他，除掉他，钉他在十字架上。彼拉多说，我可以把你们的王钉十字架吗。祭司长回答说，除了凯撒，我们没有王。
But they cried out； Away with him； away with him； crucify him。 Pilate saith unto them； Shall I crucify your King？ The chief priests answered； We have no king but Caesar。
19：16于是彼拉多将耶稣交给他们去钉十字架。
Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified。 And they took Jesus； and led him away。
19：17他们就把耶稣带了去。耶稣背着自己的十字架出来，到了一个地方，名叫髑髅地，希伯来话叫各各他。
And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull； which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha：
19：18他们就在那里钉他在十字架上，还有两个人和他一同钉着，一边一个，耶稣在中间。
Where they crucified him； and two other with him； on either side one； and Jesus in the midst。
19：19彼拉多又用牌子写了一个名号，安在十字架上。写的是犹太人的王，拿撒勒人耶稣。
And Pilate wrote a title； and put it on the cross。 And the writing was； JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS。
19：20有许多犹太人念这名号。因为耶稣被钉十字架的地方，与城相近，并且是用希伯来，罗马，希腊，三样文字写的。
This title then read many of the Jews： for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city： and it was written in Hebrew； and Greek； and Latin。
19：21犹太人的祭司长，就对彼拉多说，不要写犹太人的王。要写他自己说我是犹太人的王。
Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate； Write not； The King of the Jews； but that he said； I am King of the Jews。
19：22彼拉多说，我所写的，我已经写上了。
Pilate answered； What I have written I have written。
19：23兵丁既然将耶稣钉在十字架上，就拿他的衣服分为四分，每兵一分。又拿他的里衣。这件里衣，原是没有缝儿，是上下一片织成的。
Then the soldiers； when they had crucified Jesus； took his garments； and made four parts； to every soldier a part； and also his coat： now the coat was without seam； woven from the top throughout。
19：24他们就彼此说，我们不要撕开，只要拈阄，看谁得着。这要应验经上的话说，他们分了我的外衣，为我的里衣拈阄。兵丁果然作了这事。
They said therefore among themselves； Let us not rend it； but cast lots for it； whose it shall be： that the scripture might be fulfilled； which saith； They parted my raiment among them； and for my vesture they did cast lots。 These things therefore the soldiers did。
19：25站在耶稣十字架旁边的，有他母亲，与他母亲的姊妹，并革罗吧的妻子马利亚，和抹大拉的马利亚。
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother； and his mother's sister； Mary the wife of Cleophas； and Mary Magdalene。
19：26耶稣见母亲和他所爱的那个门徒站在旁边，就对他说，母亲，（原文作妇人）看你的儿子。
When Jesus therefore saw his mother； and the disciple standing by； whom he loved； he saith unto his mother； Woman； behold thy son！
19：27又对那门徒说，看你的母亲。从此那门徒就接他到自己家里去了。
Then saith he to the disciple； Behold thy mother！ And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home。
19：28这事以后，耶稣知道各样的事已经成了，
